Golfers will play a variety of courses based around the historic links courses of St Andrews to include the Eden, Strathtyrum and either New or Jubilee. With a minimum of eight different courses pupils will have an excellent opportunity to experience Scottish Golf at its best.
Golf has been played on the Links at St Andrews since around 1400AD, and the Old Course is renowned throughout the world as the Home of Golf. In 1754, the Royal and Ancient Club was founded under its original name of the Society of St Andrews Golfers. The club built the New course in 1895 and the Jubilee was opened in 1897.
Practice Facilities - Elmwood Golf Club
The coaching will take place at Elmwood Golf Club on their practice facilities which are ranked as one of the best in Scotland.
The practice facility covers almost 19 acres and is set to USG standards with 3 practice chipping greens, 2 putting greens, 7 bunkers and driving range.

Golfers will spend the morning developing their skills
under the expert tuition of our experienced team of PGA
Our coaching team has experience across all levels of the golf development pathway to include, junior, school, national and tour level. Sessions will include coaching of the full swing using video analysis and Trackman, short game, putting and course management.
Coaching will be a combination of individual and group lessons with each player being provided with a detailed personal report and training plan to take home.
McIntosh Hall, St Andrews University
St Andrews University was founded in 1410 and is ranked as the third best university in the United Kingdom. With its excellent location in the centre of town golfers will be able to fully experience the St Andrews experience.
Situated within beautiful grounds pupils will have space to relax when not on the golf course and participate in some evening activities. We also run a tuck shop selling drinks and snacks.
The house is well appointed with twin sharing rooms, dining room as well as communal rooms for relaxing after a busy day on the golf course.
